THE CENTRIST RETURNS
Folks, sorry for the very long hiatus.
Life has gotten in the way. A new marriage, a new baby, tons of schoolwork.
So much has happened in military justice while I've been offline. The tribunals have started, then stopped. The Air Force JAG retired in disgrace after a years-long sex scandal with harems of female officers. Saddam and his buddies are starting their process. Padilla v. Hanft came out. And that's just for starters.
I won't try to catch up. Starting today, however, I'll scour the net and hunt down your leads. Folks in the field, you are my link to the news. Please feel free to use the tip line, located on the sidebar. Had I been actually listening, I would have noticed that someone tipped me off to the Air Force Jag scandal a full week before it happened. I'll be sure to pick up on that this time.
Also, please note the role this site plays. I consider this blog a clearinghouse of information. Not a lot of in-depth analysis, especially when doing so calls for political judgments. I am a serving Army officer and must be careful on those matters. However, when I do see something good, I will point to it.
OK enough. Game starts again now.
